∼ Ceramic Paint Protection
Ceramic coatings offer excellent protection, but none quite like the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Protection System we use at ALS Detailing. Without a doubt, this is the world’s premium coating and the results are truly outstanding, without comparison.
Unlike many other coatings which sit on the paint, Gtechniq creates a layer over it – coating all parts of the car surface of paint, glass, and wheels.
Once cured, it offers a hard layer that assists in protection from all the elements nature can throw at it, at the same time as reducing fine scratches caused by everyday life. It brings with it a 5 to 9-year warranty, without the need for a regular ‘enhancer’ treatment. ∼ The Gtechniq Story
From its inception in 2001 by Drew Gill, Gtechniq has always strived to be better than earlier coatings on the market. Some of which are still around today. These coatings were based on waxes, new-fangled polymers, and miracle treatments containing PTFE. At any rate, none of these could offer what was really needed with the majority of these coatings performing poorer than the original paint on the vehicle.
In 2006, Rob Earle took over the reins of Gtechniq. His passion for the car detailing industry and the finish of automotive and marine finishes has developed the Gtechniq range to be as good as you can get in the industry today.
